CentraState’s award-winning Star and Barry Tobias Health Awareness Center (HAC) empowers children and adults to take control of their health and well-being. The HAC was created to promote and support the wellness of our patients and community members across the lifespan.
Located adjacent to CentraState Medical Center, the Health Awareness Center at the Star and Barry Tobias Ambulatory Campus offers more than 200 health education and lifestyle management programs to help you and your family achieve your health and wellness goals.
Our dedicated team of registered nurses, registered dietitians, health coaches, lifestyle management experts, and integrative therapy practitioners can help you with healthy lifestyle changes.

Michelle and Jennifer Tobias Adventure to Health
As part of SHAC, the Michelle and Jennifer Tobias Adventure to Health is an interactive educational simulated journey through the human body, designed especially for kids.
Student Health Awareness Center
Our Student Health Awareness Center (SHAC) offers age-appropriate health and wellness programs for preschoolers up to high school seniors. The wide range of program topics includes substance abuse prevention, family life, self-esteem, growth and development, general health, and character education.
