Better Manage Your Diabetes

Learning to control your diabetes with medication and lifestyle changes can be challenging. If not carefully monitored, diabetes can lead to other serious complication – like heart disease, stroke or vision problems. So keeping your diabetes in check is one of the most important things you can do for your overall health.

You don’t have to go it alone.
CentraState’s diabetes educators at the Novo Nordisk Diabetes Center can provide you with the management tools, resources and support you need to keep your blood sugars level, feel good, and reduce the risk of future complications. The Novo Nordisk Diabetes Center at CentraState Medical Center is recognized by the American Diabetes Association for meeting the national standard in diabetes education.
You’ll meet with a diabetes educator for a one-on-one assessment with a diabetes educator, who will review your medical history, teach blood glucose monitoring, perform a foot exam that will assess sensitivity, and provide preliminary meal planning guidance.
Our educators will work closely with you and your physician to create a diabetes management program that meets your unique needs including weight loss, meal plans, and support.

Our goal is to reduce your risk of long-term complications and help you live a healthier life.
